Lakepoint, Georgia - The 11th annual Future Games will take place on July 27-30 at LakePoint in Emerson, Georgia. Top uncommitted prospects in the classes of 2024 and 2025 will participate in one of the most popular events each year.

There will be 32 teams, including Team California, with players representing 40 states plus Canadian prospects. Each team will play three games the final three days of the event after all position players are put through a showcase workout on Wednesday, the first day of the Future Games.

California will play Texas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Georgia at 12:30 p.m. Friday and Indiana at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

More than 300 college coaches from across the country will be looking on as approximately 500 players participate in this year’s event. Below is the team separated in groups by position.

INFIELDERS

Wyatt Prieto 2B / Clovis North, CA / 2025

Twitchy infielder that handles the glove well at second base and can also play in right field. Strong hands translate at the dish where he has sneaky pop that he's tapping into more frequently.

Grayson Boles RHP / St. Augustine, CA / 2025

Legitimate two-way threat. At the plate the swing has come a long way and is now tapping into the power more frequently. Has feel for the barrel with a line drive stroke. On the mound it's a clean arm with repeatable mechanics into the upper 80's. Appears to have way more in there.

Ryland Duson 2B / Vista Murietta , CA / 2025

Hyper athletic infielder that can make all the plays up the middle. Plenty of arm for the left side of the infield. Instinctive and athletic on the dirt; high leadership qualities. Physical strength translates at the plate where it's easy power to all fields.

Nate Kugler 3B / Notre Dame Sherman Oaks, CA / 2024

The power at the plate is real and somewhat untapped to this point. Middle-middle approach with flashes of over-the-fence power. Line drive hitter with high exit velocities. Big outfield arm with accuracy and carry on throws. Athleticism plays up in the outfield while handling third base with aplomb.

Jake Downing SS / Serra, CA / 2024

Downing has shown to be a sure handed infielder whose athleticism is so subtle it may go unnoticed. He moves well on the dirt with enough arm to make all throws from varying angles. At the plate he shows a middle-middle approach with high barrel frequency.

Billy Carlson SS / Corona , CA / 2025

When you start at shortstop as a freshman at Corona HS people pay attention and Carlson has done nothing but raise the interest in himself as a prospect since. A prototypical SoCal Shorstop, Carlson also pitches where he works into the upper 80's with quality secondary stuff.

Xavier Farnum

C / Christian HS , CA / 2024

Farnum was one of the better catchers committed or not we saw in all of San Diego this past spring. The swing is short and smooth working connected and on-plane. The framing/receiving skills are present along with being a good blocker. His team's pitchers have raved about his game calling and managing skills.

Camden Clewett / 2024

C / Servite HS , CA / 2025

Clewett got significant playing time for Servite this spring as a sophomore in the tough Trinity League. We believe it's a high level bat that we have seen go gap to gap with LDs. This summer the bat has actually tapped into some more power which we are excited about. The catching skillset is above average across the board and can work in the mid 80s on the mound.

OUTFIELDERS

Justin Heffler OF / St. Augustine , CA / 2024

Power hitting outfielders are always in vogue and that's the mold Heffler comes from. He's shown the ability to leave the yard while also peppering gaps with line drives. He understands the game very well. Defensively it's a very strong arm on an athletic frame.

Roman Lopez OF / Ayala , CA / 2025

A freshman starter at Ayala, we saw Lopez up close as he flashed his potential at the plate from the left side. He's since added some mass to his 6'3" frame and those bleeders are turning into gapped line drives. There's been more consistent flashes of his raw power this summer as well.

Benjamin Gudoy III CF / Francis Parker, CA / 2025

Gudoy first got on our radar at our Peninsula/South Bay Preseason ID where he put together a solid overall workout. Then he goes into the spring HS season and has one of the best freshman seasons in the state. The bat to ball with Gudoy is very advanced as he has natural feel for the barrel and quick hands. In the OF he has the quickness and range to be a high level OF along with an above average arm.

James Tronstein SS / Harvard-Westlake, CA / 2026

A standout at the LA Rising Stars event, Tronstein has continued to punish quality pitching all summer while displaying high level defense at various tournaments. Tronstein plays above his age in many facets of the game while showing flashes of a potentially special bat.

PITCHERS

Daniel Camou RHP / Ayala, CA / 2025

A freshman starter and standout at Ayala, Camou is a bulldog on the mound that attacks, attacks, and attacks more. Has an innate ability to move on from mistakes and stick to his plan. Three pitch mix with his secondary stuff showing flashes of above average stuff.

Tommy Bridges SS / Harvard Westlake, CA / 2024

Bridges has been brilliant more times than not as a two-year starter at Harvard Westlake. His three pitch mix is a true weapon while his slider is amongst the best in SoCal. Has a deep understanding of pitching and the game overall. Also an infielder where he flashes sure hands and footwork.

Stunner Gonzales RHP / La Costa Canyon, CA / 2024

Gonzales was one of the biggest surprisers this spring. First thing you notice is the frame as he stands a lean 6'7 193lb build with long limbs. He moves well for his size and is able to repeat considerably well for all the growth and quickness in armspeed he has seen in the last year. We have seen the FB up to 89 but usually sits 85-87. The breaking ball is still developing but has shown swing and miss potential sitting in the low 70s with 11-5 shape. Also has a mid 70s CH he will mix in every once in a while.

Andrew Johnson RHP / Capistrano Valley Christian, CA / 2024

A two-time Future Gamer, Johnson has begun to take the next step in his pitching evolution. His command, velocity, and understanding of pitching have all improved since last summer. With a durable frame that portends continued gains, Johnson looks to have a breakout outing at the Future Games.

Paul Wheeler LHP / Bellarmine College Prep, CA / 2024

Wheeler is a very intriguing LH arm. It's a loose arm that operates under an athletic undercontrol delivery. Lives in the mid 80s and has been up to 87 with a FB that has a ton of ASR and has been proved hard to square up. The CH and SL both show as above average secondary pitches that he can locate for strikes. Pitchability is present and it looking to be deceptive against Indiana's bats.
