NORTHERN CALIFORNIA - The early signing period has come and gone for Division I baseball programs and as it is every year (and will be in every year in the future), there are players who will excel at the D1 level who didn't sign with a program in the early signing period.

Here is a second list of players I've seen and personally believe will eventually receive their DI opportunity, whether as a walk-on or scholarship player or a JC transfer in a year or two... regardless, they are talented players and are still awaiting an opportunity.

Listed alphabetically... click on the player name link for access to reports, data, metrics, and for subscribers all the video we have on each player, plus a much deeper dive into the metrics.

Joseph Cardinale SS / 2B / Palma, CA / 2022

There aren't many uncommitted left side infielders with 90 mph arms and near 100 mph EV thump. He's a physical player with a motor that fits college baseball.

UPDATE: COMMITMENT TO UTAH

Antonio Carter OF / Bishop O'Dowd, CA / 2022

His LHH talent is easy to see with the eyes and the numbers back it all up; 23.4 hand speed and bat speed up to 86.1 mph... oh, and he's a 6.67 runner.

Jake Cross RHP / Alameda, CA / 2022

Had an injury issue to work through that kept him off the mound when we last saw him, but prior to that he'd shown upper-80s stuff with an outstanding delivery.

Ethan Dungo OF / De La Salle, CA / 2022

Toolsy/athletic, he's got a plus OF arm, runs well (6.96) and has twitchiness with the bat in his hands. If he's gotten stronger he's in for a big season.

Ian Guanzon 3B / P / Pleasant Valley, CA / 2022

Beyond the talent as an offensive 3rd baseman w/the ability to play SS, he's got  intangibles that are found in players who are difference makers to a program.

Adam Harper OF / SS / Campolindo, CA / 2022

Over the course of 3 days at BAWS '21 his offensive ability was shining as brightly as any player. 6.93 runner, solid arm, but it's the bat and athleticism to see.

Peter Jensen RHP / De La Salle, CA / 2022

At his best, his lively upper-80s fastball combined with a quick snappy breaking ball provide a glimpse of an impactful high leverage college bullpen arm.

Arjan Johal OF / 2B / Jesuit , CA / 2022

An intense competitor with multi-position versatility, he's transitioned to primary OF. Sub-7.0 runner, upper 80s arm both OF & INF, slashing all field hitter.

Tristan Kim RHP / OF / St. Francis, CA / 2022

An intimidating/focused competitor on the mound (nasty splitter), he buzzed through hitters at ProCase and also showed some offensive tools as well.

Conner Smith C / 3B / Alpha Charter, CA / 2022

Attractive body projection to his 19-20 yr-old years, he's got the arm talent & power potential, the two traditional tools that draw scouts to catchers.

Peter Storjohann RHP / De La Salle, CA / 2022

At 6-4 200-lbs he looks the part on the mound and then there is the FB we've seen topping at 88 with 2300+ spin and feel for throwing strikes w/the slider.

Casey Threats III 2B / SS / Pittsburg, CA / 2022

There is an unmistakeable joy and energy he plays with and beyond that he's got gap to gap pop and is a creative and talented defender up the middle.
