On Sunday, January 5th, the PB California staff traveled to Corona High School in Corona, CA, to host the Inland Empire Preseason All-State, an invite-only event for the class of 2025-2028.

Nearly 60 players made their way to Corona and participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball California staff.

TOP OUTFIELD PROSPECTS

1. Jackson Pratt OF / LHP / ST FRANCIS HIGH SCHOOL, CA / 2025

Positional Profile: OF
Body: 6-0, 175 pounds. 
Hit: LHH. Square setup, relaxed tempo. Hands start low, work high during load with weight carrying forward. Slight leg kick, gets a wide base into the swing. Strong upper half with a scissor kick finish. Longer swing, slightly uphill path with intent to lift. Quick hips help generate pop,  65.3 mph bat speed with 19g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 89 mph max exit velocity (82 avg.); 324-foot max batted distance. 
Arm: LH. OF - 89.00 mph. Strong and fast arm, overhand slot. 
Defense: Gets around the ball and attacks with intent, fields in stride. Looks rangy in the outfield.
Athletic Testing: 6.90 runner in the 60-yard dash.
