On Sunday, January 5th, the PB California staff traveled to Corona High School in Corona, CA, to host the Inland Empire Preseason All-State, an invite-only event for the class of 2025-2028.

Nearly 60 players made their way to Corona and participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball California staff.

TOP PITCHING PROSPECTS

1. Gavin Loeb Keene RHP / OF / Los Osos High, CA / 2026

Positional Profile: RHP 
Body: 6-2, 175-pounds. 
Delivery: Slower tall and fall delivery. Moderate leg kick with light coil, momentum carries forward into extension, gains ground via frame. Easy follow through, stays controlled. 
Arm Action: RH. Fast arm, longer wind up into and throws out of an overhand slot. 
FB: T87, 85-86 mph. Buzzing arm side run, quality control of the pitch, deceptive speed. T2177, 2051 average rpm.
SL: 75-76 mph. Developing break but solid feel for the zone. T2050, 1796 average rpm.
CH: 79-80 mph. Arm side fade, plays well off the FB, higher spin with a quality feel for the pitch. T1950, 1884 average rpm.
