On Saturday, January 4th, the PB California staff traveled to Maranatha Christian High School in San Diego, CA, to host the San Diego Preseason All-State, an invite-only event for the class of 2025-2028.

Nearly 60 players made their way to Maranatha this past weekend and participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball California staff.

TOP CATCHING PROSPECTS

1. Nyte Teeter C / RHP / Tustin, CA / 2026

Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 6-0, 154.8 pounds.
Hit: RHH. Slight bend in the back knee, small stride in-line, hands close to head. Shorter path, quick hands, flat path, hands-to-ball, contact swing. 68.7 mph bat speed with 22g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 84 mph max exit velocity (73.7 avg.); 295-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. C - 75.00 mph. Quick and short arm action, 3/4 slot.
