The 4th annual Centennial State Games put on by Prep Baseball Report Colorado concluded yesterday with 64 in the 16U and 15U levels competing up and down the Front Range. The 16U Bracket wrapped up yesterday with three great games played at Highlands Ranch High School.

The Apaches finish off a perfect weekend winning the 15U Centennial State Games.  Trombly met the Sioux Falls Cyclones in the championship game who also were perfect coming into the game.  For two teams that had but up double digit runs in most of their games, this game had a much different feel.  Trombly was led by Travis Sprinkle at the plate, he was 3-3 including 2 doubles and 2 RBI, pacing the Apaches to a 4-1 championship victory.  Tanner Ludwig 2021 from Highlands Ranch High School got the ball for the championship game went 6 strong innings, scattering 6 hits, allowing just 1 run and struck out 3.
