Week 2
PBR COLORADO has updated our POWER 25 Rankings. After a week of play with some sunshine and snow, teams tried to find their groove during our shortened CHSAA season. Regis Jesuit holds the top spot going 2-0 shutting out Lakewood and blasting 13 Home Runs in a 21-2 over Dakota Ridge. Chatfield moves up to #2. The Chargers showed grit in a comeback “walk-off” win vs Rock Canyon. Mountain Vista climbs to #3 with impressive win over Rocky Mountain and shutout win over previous #2 Valor Christian. Grandview makes a jump to #9 and Legacy enters the Power 25 going 3-0 on the week.
The rankings include teams from all classifications playing baseball, 1A-5A. These early rankings are compiled with the help from our Colorado coaches from all levels from all around the state. PBR Colorado has used valued PBR Staff, Scouts, Past and Current HS Coaches and Past and Current Club Coaches as resources. We also lean on our knowledge of the players we have seen from our events and tournaments from this past year. These rankings stay with the theme of PBR and are prospect driven. We strive to bring state and national recognition for our Colorado players. As the season progresses, the rankings will be more strongly determined by wins and losses and the opponents. Rankings will be updated on a weekly basis or as warranted.
