The Colorado high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we'll publish our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

OUTLOOK:
Evangelical Christian is a 1A baseball program out of the Colorado Springs area. This squad went 12-6 last season, but did graduate plenty of seniors that were with that group. Coach Bob Wingett still likes his chances in 2023 since he brings back an experienced arm in Jesse Finnigan along with some solid pieces to go with him. Senior Michael Kim should also be on the radar from this team as he hit .453 last year with 40 stolen bases in only 18 games. If the new pieces to this roster can gel early, the Eagles should have another successful season.
