2025 SEASON OUTLOOK:
Coach Ross has a younger core of players this season, and some new faces that may surprise some teams. This squad is led up the middle by catcher Cole Teltschik who is a 2024 Future Games alumni and now committed to Missouri State to continue his baseball career. Teltschik takes control of the game behind the plate and comes with a throwing velocity up to 83 mph from his catching crouch. During this summer's Future Games, the Prep Baseball staff got to see Teltschik handle numerous high-level arms while also being a wall defensively, and producing at the plate. The Thunder also have some intriguing arms who could put up some strong numbers in; Torres, Tarpenning, and Hafferkamp. There could be some early ebbs and flows for the Thunder in 2025, but once this team gains momentum with more varsity experience we could see them make a run in the 4A state tournament. Some matchups to circle for Discovery Canyon this spring are against Vista Ridge, Pine Creek, Lutheran, Lewis-Palmer, and Cheyenne Mountain.
