Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.
Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Big and strong frame with feel. +spin on the CB, plays the fastball up in the zone for deception with the breaker. Also has true two-way upside.@davidada03 | @FHSAthletics49 pic.twitter.com/ryrizFHlRA

Ada just flat out hits‼️
After leading our WCG team in hits this past weekend, Ada comes through here with his second knock of the game, going off the fence in LF for a double.@davidada03 || #COStateGames pic.twitter.com/uF3zCzJ4KL

2025 SEASON OUTLOOK:
This is a Falcon program that is hungry for a state championship after some strong seasons lately, and a taste of the 4A Final Four last spring. Coach Stegman did lose three seniors from 2024's sqaud who contributed plenty, but Falcon has numerous impact players returning for a potential state championship run this season. One of the top arms in Colorado plays for Falcon as 2024 Future Games alumni Aaron Jaquez comes with a fastball in the 90s and two swing and miss off-speeds in both his changeup and slider. Behind Jaquez, this program has plenty of other formidable arms in Cordova, Ada, Schleper, Millikan, Maestas, and Sadorus. Falcon continues to produce athletes as most of the players mentioned above are also some of the top hitters in the lineup for coach Stegman. Some important matchups on the calendar for Falcon this spring are against; Holy Family (4A State Champs), University, Ponderosa, Windsor, Fort Collins, and Cheyenne Mountain.
