The Colorado high school baseball season kicks off on March 6th, opening day for regular season action under CHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

2025 SEASON OUTLOOK:

The Demons have had plenty of success lately across the 4A class in Colorado, and could be in the mix for another state championship run in 2025. Coach McBroom loves his returning pitching staff for this spring and has plenty of optimism for the whole lineup offensively. Luca Casali will likely lead the charge for the Demons at the plate in 2025 as he hit .486 with 8 homeruns, 2 triples, 10 doubles, 14 stolen bases, and a 1.553 OPS across 96 plate appearances last spring. Sawyer Brinkman and Taden Svendsen should eat up most of the innings on the mound for Golden as the seniors combined for 89 innings last season with 122 strikeouts. Some matchups to circle for Golden this year are against; Eaton, Castle View, and Lewis-Palmer.
