The Colorado high school baseball season kicks off on March 6th, opening day for regular season action under CHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

2025 SEASON OUTLOOK:

"After competing in the highly competitive 3A Patriot League, Highland is returning to Class 2A this season. One of the biggest strengths this year will be our senior leadership. With a strong core of experienced players, the team will rely on veteran presence to set the tone. That leadership, combined with impressive depth on the mound, makes us a dangerous contender in 2A. I feel we arguably have some of the best pitching in the state at the 2A level. Our depth on the mound will give us an edge throughout the season, and our seniors will play a huge role in guiding this team." -Coach Juarez
