2025 Denver Preseason ID: Preview

Caleb Dameron
Prep Baseball Colorado Staff

Last year's Denver Preseason ID had some key players who ended up at Prep Baseball national events after showcasing their skills. The Super Sophomore Games saw 2027s Winston Patterson and Lars Jergensen, 2026 Ryan Prater received a Future Games invite, and the West Coast Games garnered 2025 Brigham Brown. There are numerous ranked players attending this Sunday's event, and the Colorado staff is looking forward to watching prospects display their talents and improvements. This event often produces more new faces that show up in our next rankings update. Below we take a quick look at some featured players that will be in attendance, the full roster for the event, and the event itinerary.

FEATURED PROSPECTS ATTENDING:

Dylan Langstaff LHP / 1B / Douglas County, CO / 2027

Langstaff is Colorado's #3 ranked 2027 prospect and the southpaw has a chance for a big 2025. We have already seen Langstaff up to over 86 mph on the mound with some high pitchability. The 6'3'' athlete has attended the Prep Baseball Junior Future Games and Super Sophomore Games and should continue to build momentum following the Denver Preseason ID and heading into the spring season. Langstaff is on "Future Games watch" and his arsenal from past events consisted of a fastball from 85-86 mph (~2,100 rpms / ~15 IVB), a slurve (~2,200 rpm), and a changeup. We anticipate Langstaff to build off of these numbers during this event and he also comes with some two-way upside thanks to a 91 mph top exit velocity.

Advait Jadhav RHP / 1B / Mountain Vista, CO / 2027

Advait continues to get better each time we see him, and there's a possibility he makes another solid jump in 2025. The Mountain Vista right-hander stands around 6-foot tall with a strong frame that has produced a fastball up to 85 mph (~2,150 rpm). We saw Jadhav utilize a fastball/curveball combination during the 2024 Colorado State Games that kept batters timing off, while still being able to generate whiffs. Jadhav is certainly one to watch early in 2025.

Brady Wright 3B / RHP / Regis Jesuit, CO / 2027

Wright recently attended the 2024 Fall ID and has some developing tools. The strong and athletic infielder showcased quality hands in the box with some defensive feel at third-base. There is also some two-way potential with Wright and his fastball over 82 mph with the ability to spin his curveball over 2,500 rpm.
