Colorado 2019 Commitment Tracker: OF/C Braden Dedrick of Pine Creek HS Commits to Dodge City

John Cackowski
Director of Scouting

PBR Colorado strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

Scouting Report

10-1-16

5-foot-10, 165 pounds. Bats and throws right. Has a slight crouch in his stance. Hands are a little low in load. Short stride. Swing is slightly uphill but extends through the ball well. Does goes gap to gap. Registered a 81 mph exit velo off a tee. Showed good arm strength at 75 mph down to 2nd. Of a pitcher between innings was 2.09-2.11 with pop-time. Could improve easily if the slight delay in arm action goes away. Ran a 7.43 60 time.

1.31.16

5-foot-10, 149-pound right hand hitting catcher/outfielder who ran a 4.73 home to first.  At the plate he hits from a balanced stance with a short stride for timing.  Bat and hips sweep through the zone and produce a 77 MPH exit velocity.  Behind the plate he sets up high in the zone, has quiet hands for receiving and had pop-times of 2.16 and 2.18.
