PBR Colorado strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

Scouting Report

4/26/19

Uncommitted. Currently ranked 41 in PBR Colorado 2020 rankings. 5-foot-7, 160 pounds. McKee has above average instincts in the game of baseball, and has been a big reason Smoky Hill has had the success they have had over the last two years. Like the actions in the infield a lot. Has good feet and range to both sides with quick release and arm strength. At the plate has open stance, and controls the strike zone. Quick bat through the zone with underrated power. Prototypical leadoff or 2-hole hitter. On the season is hitting .458 with 7 doubles and a homerun. One of the top players in the 5A Centennial League. Gamer mentality.

8-4-18
5-foot-7, 135-pound right hand hitting MIF who ran a 7.10 60. Defensively showed above-average hands while fielding the baseball out in front with a quick release, can play well on the move and through the baseball. Quick and short release from a high ¾ slot, arm plays athletically and threw 73 mph from across the infield. Right-handed hitter, hits from an open stance, slightly crouched; short, heel-lift stride and wraps his bat into his load and maintains good balance through contact. Long bat path that sweeps through the zone with rhythm, 81 mph exit velocity off the tee.

1-28-18
5-foot-7, 135-pound right hand hitting C/SS. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance, long stride trigger, solid balance. Short loose path, hands create bat speed. Swing path is uphill, good bat control through the zone. Exit velocity was 78 mph. Defensively he showed good athletic actions, hands played well with a quick exchange and release. Arm played short, 73 mph across the diamond. Quick feet behind dish. Quick exchange at times with a short arm action and clean throughout. Pop time ranged from 2.00–2.05 with accuracy.
