When we last updated the 2021 board in June, we turned the list into a 25. Now, that list has expanded to 55 prospects, and no prospect debuted at a higher spot than RHP Greysen Carter of Fairview HS debuting at No. 4. Has the big body and frame already, The 6-foot-2, 185-pound switch hitting RHP/OF ran a 7.30 60 at the Top Prospect Games in August.  At the plate he stands balanced with a slight crouch from both sides.  He uses a big leg trigger to start the swing and loads hard on the back side.  Swing is level through the zone with good extension out front.  Exit velocity was 87 mph from both sides of the plate.  In the outfield he takes good angles and has a big arm from an over the top slot.  Arm played at 90 mph. Power pitcher on the mound with max effort in his delivery.  Drop and drive motion with good extension on the release.  Arm is over the top and live.  Fastball was 88-90 mph and over powered several hitters in his inning of work.  He mixed in a 64-66 mph curve with tight spin and 11/5 break.

Already receiving D-1 offers, Alec Willis of Regis Jesuit debuts at No. 7. The 6-foot-3, 190 pound already with the big frame, has more room to grow. Willis comes from a high 3/4 slot with good arm side run. Fastball touches 86, lives 82-84. Square to the plate and inline. Can come across body which creates the asr. Above average curve is 68 to 70 thrown at same arm speed as fastball. Change is 70-72 with gradual fade. Willis has a good chance this spring to be in the starting rotation for the Raiders, and projects to be one of the top pitchers in the state when it's all said and done.

Left-handed pitcher Ryan Ure out of Eaton debuts at No. 11. At 6-foot-5, 195 pounds, Ure possesses a fastball that lives between 83-85 mph. Equally proportioned, Ure has a large frame and broad shoulders showing durability on the mound.  Ure's arm action is clean and his arm works quick from high 3/4. Motion is effortless towards plate. Balance is controlled through motion, lands slightly closed with good extension towards the hitter, slight fall off towards 3rd. Has better command of strike zone on arm-side, but pitches to both sides. Mixes in a 75 mph change with late fade at same arm speed as fastball, and curve has 11/5 shape at 70-71 mph.

Right-handed hitter Tyson Pallatt out of Lakewood earned a spot all the way to No. 12 on the list. Coming off a spring season in which he earned First Team All-Jeffco League honors as a freshman, Pallat showed well this summer in the PBR Colorado Scout League as well. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound right hand hitting OF/C ran a 7.00 60 in the scout league. At the plate he hits from a balanced stance with a slow load on the pitch.  Good lower leg drive on the swing.  Hands come through the zone and create good whip.  Exit velocity was 86 mph. In the field he showed good athletic actions and instincts.  Uses his speed to cut balls down in the gap.  Arm is long and over the top and played at 85 mph at the Top Prospect Games in August.

Jose Magallanes just came off a very strong summer circuit with Slammers top 2021 team and enters the rankings at No. 15. 5-foot-11, 190-pound right hand hitting C/3B who ran a 7.46 60. Stands tall at the plate with hands held high.  Hands drop on the load and create an uphill swing path.  Ball has good carry to the gaps.  Strong weight transfer and extension out front create an 82 mph exit velocity.  Behind the plate he showed good instincts on balls in the dirt.  Body stays in-line on the delivery to second base and he throws from a high ¾ slot.  Arm was 65 mph.  Pop-time was 2.13-2.18.

Cale Claridge out of Legacy enters the rankings at 18. 6-foot-2, 185-pound left hand hitting 1B/LHP who ran a 7.51 60 at the Top Prospect Games. Tall lefty at the plate with a simple approach.  Short stride and quick load allows him to fire his hands through the zone.  Good extension out front with an uphill swing path.  Exit velocity was 85 mph.  At first he has good feet around the bag and soft hands to handle balls in the dirt.  Arm is from a high ¾ arm slot and was 80 mph across the diamond. On the mound he stands tall and gets balanced.  Strong lower leg drive to the plate and stays in-line on his delivery.  Arm speed stays consistent on all pitches.  Fastball was 81 mph with command down in the zone.  He added a 64-65 mph Curve with 2/7 break.

Roenikk Hernandez out of Pine Creek debuts at No. 19. 5-foot-9, 160-pound right hand hitting MIF who ran a 7.30 60. Uses a big leg kick and stride at the plate to help generate an 85 mph exit velocity.  Swing is uphill and hands whip through the zone.  Defensively he is aggressive and attacks the ball.  Shows great feet and balance on the move.  Arm is short and from a high ¾, arm velocity was 78 mph.

Gavin Rapoza, debuting at 20, received playing time for the ThunderRidge varsity team last spring, and in limited action hit. .429 in four games. At the plate has a wide balanced stance, hands are in good load position and finishes with a level, bottom hand finish. Leg kick start, line drive gap to gap power. Behind the dish has quick feet, and gains good ground to 2B. Pop-times range from 2.08 to 2.11 off a coach.
