Scouting Report

6/01/19

Uncommitted 2021 RHP Alec Willis of Regis Jesuit came into to close the game and pitched a dominant game against the Cherry Creek Bruins to secure the 2019 5A state championship. The 6-foot-4, 190 pound RHP FB was 89-91 touching 92 from high 3/4. Fastball has good movement. ASR, and has ability to sink it. CB was 72-73, and change was 78-79.  Willis is jumping up the boards. The projectable RHP should be in demand due to having a young arm coming into college because of the deep pitching staff at Regis Jesuit. Power 5 prospect.

4/20/19

2021 RHP Alec Willis of Regis Jesuit came into pitch one inning. The 6-foot-3, 190 pound already with the big frame, has more room to grow. Willis comes from a high 3/4 slot with good arm side run. Fastball touches 87, lives 84-85. Square to the plate and inline. Can come across body which creates the asr. Above average curve is 68 to 70 thrown at same arm speed as fastball.
