The commitments have been rolling in quickly across the State of Colorado these past couple weeks and we're going to break it all down right here. In December alone we've seen commitments from the 2022 - 2024 classes, three Division I commitments, our 11th commitment from the West Coast Games and the 8th commitment from our Future Games team.

Before we jump in here, we're going to highlight a trio of names who announced their commitment but are not in our database:

2022 Bryce Peterson (Brighton HS) - Western Nebraska CC
2022 Garrett Klein (Broomfield HS) - Cameron University
2022 Spencer Searcey (Columbine HS) - Miles CC

Athan Kroll RHP / OF / Valor Christian , CO / 2024

Dallas Baptist University
Kroll is one of the top 2024 prospects in the state of Colorado and he looked the part throughout the summer. Another strong season has him heading to DBU. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound right-hander has great composure on the mound and a repeatable delivery. His fastball ranges from 81-85, topping out at 86.1. The Valor Christian product is a strike thrower with high ¾ release. Kroll also shows feel for his secondary offerings. Very high ceiling and projectability.

Colter McAnelly SS / RHP / Cheyenne East, WY / 2023

University of Utah

One of the top players in the Wyoming, McAnelly was originally committed to Missouri but now heads to the Pac-12 and the University of Utah. It's an athletic frame at 6-foot-3, 180-pounds and that athleticism plays in all areas of his game. There's feel to hit from the right side where he's shown pop to both gaps. He moves well at short with clean actions and a strong arm across the diamond. McAnelly will stay close to home when he suits up for the Utes.

Parker Murrow LHP / OF / Chatfield Senior, CO / 2023

Charleston Southern University
Murrow was another standout on our 2021 Future Games team and comes from a strong Colorado Yard Dawgs program. He has a smooth, sweet swing from the left side and with his balance and approach, he can use the entire field and has no issues against high-level pitching. The Chatfield Senior product moves well in the outfield with great reads. Murrow does a lot of things right on the baseball field and it's no surprise to see him heading to Charleston Southern.

Brandon Stricklin C / OF / Brighton, CO / 2022

South Mountain CC
The 11th signing from our West Coast Games team this summer, Brandon Stricklin will head to South Mountain Community College. Stricklin stood out this summer with his overall game behind the dish where he's quick with carry on his throws. The right-handed hitter also has a rhythmic swing with a line drive approach and feel for the barrel. Another exciting senior off the board in Colorado!

Matthew Ramstead 1B / RHP / Valor Christian, CO / 2022

Dordt College
We saw Ramstead at Valor Christian Scout Day and he immediately stood out with his size and presence at 6-foot-5, 217-pounds. The strength was on display during his batting practice with several 90+ exit velocities from the right side. Ramstead took the mound back in April as well where the right-hander worked up to 83 mph. Ramstead showed he's capable to play at the next level and will do so when he heads to Dordt College.
