The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Fort Collins 5 Legacy 3
Fort Collins was trailing in the game 1 to 0 going into the top of the 5th inning, and exploded for 4 runs and then cruised to a big league win on Wednesday.  The Lampkins were led by, pitcher Drew Norsen (2020) who went 5 innings, and allowing just 1 run.

Legend 10 Castle View 4
Legend came out swinging scoring 6 runs in the first 2 innings in this very important league game on Wednesday.  Legend’s Caleb Albaugh (2020) went 3 for 3, scoring 3 runs, and driving in another 2, and Troy Lincavage (2018) went 1 for 3 but also had 2 RBI’s.

Cherokee Trail 12 Eaglecrest 6
Cherokee Trail put up 7 runs in the first 2 innings, and then added another 4 between the 4th and 5th inning to win this big league game.  In the loss for Eaglecrest, Zach Sulyma (2018) had a big day at the plate going 2 for 4, scoring 2 runs, and driving in 3.

ThunderRidge 8 Heritage 0
ThunderRidge came out swinging in the first 2 innings taking a commanding lead, and that was all the Cale Lansville (2021) needed on the mound.  Cale went a complete game, allowing just 4 hits and no free passes.  At the plate, TJ White (2018) had 2 RBI, Jake Haze (2018) was 2 for 3 scoring 2 runs, and driving in another.

Mountain Vista 8 Chaparral 5
The undefeated Golden Eagles put up 6 runs in the first 2 innings and then cruised to another big league win.  Pitching for Mountain Vista was Sam Ireland (2019) who went 6 innings, allowing just 4 hits, 2 earned runs and striking out 6 hitters.  Zach Paschke (2018) had a day at the plate going 3 for 4, scoring 3 runs, and driving in 1.

Cherry Creek 10 Smoky Hill 4
Brett Benedetti (2018) did most of the damage for the Bruins on Wednesday.  Brett went 2 for 2, scoring 2 runs, and driving in 3, in this important league win over Smoky Hill.

Dakota Ridge 13 Chatfield 9
In a big league game, Chatfield took a huge lead after 3 innings going ahead by a score of 9 to 2, but Dakota Ridge did not give up and held Chatfield to those 9 runs, and scored another 11 for themselves to win. Dakota Ridge’s Cade Akerfelds (2019) had a monster day going 3 for 4, scoring 2 runs, and driving in 4 RBI’s.

Valor 10 Wheat Ridge 5
Valor came out hot scoring 6 in the bottom of the 1st inning, and went on to win this key league game.  Valor’s Radek Birkholz (2021) had a great day at the plate going 2 for 2 with 3 RBI’s.

Regis 13 Douglas County 8
Tyler Gayle (2018) led Regis to a key league win on Wednesday by hitting a grand slam to start a 6 run 3rd inning. 

Ponderosa 14 Highlands Ranch 2
Ponderosa pounded out 14 hits and 14 runs to beat Highlands Ranch on Wednesday.  Ponderosa was led by James Hicks (2018) who went 4 for 4, scoring 2 times, and driving in 2 RBI’s.
