Kyle Winkler




The PBR Colorado Staff is putting together a series of players to watch for 2015. These players are not ranked in any particular order. We will be adding a player or two a day over the next 2 months. The next player in the series is 2015  Kyle Winkler from Chatfield High School.

The Chatfield Chargers had a great year in 2014 finishing 20-4 on the season making it through districts to the 5A State Playoffs (Final 8). 3B/SS Kyle Winker was a big part of their success. Winkler was a force at the plate last spring. As a junior last year Winkler finished 3rd in 5A in batting average hitting .525. In 62 at-bats, Winkler also drove in 24 RBI's while hitting 8 2B, 1 3B, and 3 HR which equated to an impressive .836 SLG average and  1.423 OPS. Winkler is a great athlete who can run a sub 7.0 60 and who also was nominated 1st Team All-Jeffco Conference in 2014 as the starting QB for the Chargers.
