LaSalle, CO--  On August  22, 2021, PBR Colorado held the Colorado Top Prospects Games at Big Foot Turf and the Field of Dreams in LaSalle, Colorado.  This showcase and games gave Colorado’s Upperclass another opportunity to shine after a modified high season and shortened club season.  The 2022’s and 23’s came all 4 corners of the state.  Colorado’s 2024’s and 2025s sought an opportunity to put their name on the radar for collegiate recruiting and identification.   

Top Players from this event will have opportunities to be invited to future invite-only events such as the PBR Colorado Preseason All-State, the PBR Future and Junior Future Games

Today, we highlight hitters from the 2023 Class:  

2023, Sage Hurley, MIF, Mullen  Sages great hands show up on the baseball field.  Defensively, hands are excellent.  Creates momentum through the ball and is in good position with quick feet.  Arm Velo 77.   At the plate, has + bat speed with direct inside path to the ball.  Middle of field approach with good balance.  Exit Velo 90.5. Room for growth and added strength

2023, Jackson Phillips, 1B/LHP  Solid base as LHH that produces strong rotational acceleration with lower half.  Hands create minimum movement in load and have direct path to ball.  Quick hands! Middle of field approach.  Exit Velo 92.3  As LHP, FB 78.5 Easy controlled delivery with a spot up FB.  Projectable as he adds strength

2023, Wyatt Buckley, C/3B. Sterling   Very physical young man. Wide base with extended stride that creates lift in ball.  Strong rotational acceleration.  Exit Velo 94.6  Still has refining to do on skill set, but tools there for development.  Catcher Pop 2.1 with Arm Velo at 68.  

2023, Ryder Banks, 1B/RHP, Air Academy, Strong lean body with strength.  Upright stacked base produces good rotational acceleration.  Hands have simple load and produce quick direct path. Slight lift Exit Velo 93.5 with potential for future power.  Potential, as well as RHP FB 80.7 with range of 77-80.  Short back side are to extended OT Release.  Room for growth and strength

2023, Nate Lewis, OF, Regis Jesuit.  Lewis impressive again in his 2nd PBR event.  The GA transfer demonstrates BIG strength and quick hands.  Balanced base produces + rotational acceleration Exit Velo 97.6.  Ran a 6.77 60.  Arm Velo 85.  

2023, Elijah Lofton, OF, Riverdale Ridge.  Elijah had one the top performances of the event.  Crushed 380+ Home Run, produced solid round of barreled up BP.  Exit Velo 92.1, quick hands with pull side tendency.  Ran a 6.58 60.  Athleticism and versatility on the field.  Still raw and can refine his skill set.  High Ceiling. 

2023, Riggs Towle, 1B/RHP  University HS  Showed promising evaluations as he adds strength to his game.  Ran 6.96 60.  Solid base with middle of the field approach.  Good fundamentals all the way around.  RHP FB 80.1.  Room for growth and strength.   Promising Follow.
