Pueblo West 12 Pueblo South 1

Pueblo West came out hot and were led by 2020 Brodie Blackford who was 3 for 4 with 5 RBI’s, and 2020 Chandler Mason who was 1 for 4 with 2 RBI’s and a long ball.  Pitching for Pueblo West was 2019 Nate Dennison who was dealing going 6 innings, allowing 6 hits 1 run, and 11 strikeouts.

Mullen 7 Cherokee Trail 6

Cherokee Trail was leading the game 6 to 3 going into the bottom of the 7th inning, and then Mullen took off scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th to win on Saturday.  Mullen was led by 2019 Evan Malloy who was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI’s, and pinch hitter 2020 Jadin Tafoya who hit long ball in the bottom of the 7th

Castle View 5 Grand Junction 2

Castle View and Grand Junction had a great game on Saturday with Castle View coming out on top.  Leading just 1 to 0 after 5 innings, both teams got going with Castle View scoring 3 in the top of the 6th, and Grand Junction answering in the bottom with 2 runs.  Castle View added another run in the top of the 7th to win the game.  Castle View was led by 2019 Noah Prince who was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s, and pitcher 2019 Cole Rieber who went 6 innings allowing just 2 runs. 

Fairview 6 Broomfield 4

In a big league game on Saturday, Fairview was able to come out on top.  Fairview scored 4 in the 3rd and then added 2 more in the top of the 5th.  Broomfield made a late run at it, scoring 1 in the 5th and 6th and added another 2 in the bottom of the 7th.  Fairview’s 2021 Greysen Carter was 1 for 4 with 3 RBI’s and a jack, and Luke Silverman was 1 for 2 with 2 RBI’s.  For Broomfield 2021 Aaron Brakel was 1 for 2, scored and run and had an RBI.
