The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Daily Roundup:

Mountain Range 3 Rocky Mountain 1
Brayden Brooks (2018) for Mountain Range came out and shutdown Rocky Mountain on Saturday going 6.2 innings, allowing just 4 hits, to go along with 11 strikeouts. 

Smoky Hill 6 Eaglecrest 4
On Saturday Eaglecrest jumped out to a 4 to 1 lead going into the bottom of the 5th, then Smoky Hill scored 3 runs to tie the game up, added another 2 in the bottom of the 6th to win this key league game.  Smoky Hill was led by, Reece Bailey (2018) who was 2 for 2 with an RBI.  

Wheat Ridge 4 Golden 4
Led by Ethan Sitzman (2020) who was 2 for 3, scoring a run, and driving in another, Wheat Ridge was able to hang on and beat Golden on Saturday in this important league game.

Valor 13 Golden 3
Valor came out and dominated Golden on Saturday scoring in every inning but the first.  Valor was led by, Declan Wiesner (2018) who hit a bomb, knocked in 3 runs, and was 2 for 3.  Also for Valor, Brady Buehler (2018) was 3 for 3, scored 3 runs, knocked in 3 and also hit a yard ball.

Legacy 6 Broomfield 2
Legacy got back to their winning ways on Saturday downing Broomfield.  Legacy’s Ross Smith (2018) came up big hitting a home run that drove in 2 runs.

Arapahoe 3 Mullen 2
Arapahoe took a 3 to 0 lead going into the bottom of the 7th, and then had to hold on as Mullen scored 2 runs.  Arapahoe pitcher Tyler Banks (2018) did a great job on the mound throwing a complete game, allowing just 5 hits and striking out 8 Mullen hitters.

Grandview 9 Overland 1
Grandview’s Luke LaFlam (2018) had a huge day at the plate to lead Grandview.  Luke was 2 for 3, scoring 2 runs, driving in 3, to go along with a monster homerun. 

Cherry Creek 16 Cherokee Trail 6
Playing for first place in the Centennial league on Saturday, these two teams both needed the win, but Cherry Creek came out and pounded Cherokee Trail.  Two players for the Bruins had just monster days at the plate, Ethan Miller (2018) went 3 for 5, with 6 RBI’s and hit 2 jacks, and Tanner O’Trema (2018) was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s and he too hit a bomb.

Fossil Ridge 6 Boulder 1
Fossil Ridge pitchers D. McRoberts (2018) and Thaniel Trumper (2020) combined to hold down Boulder just 1 run on Saturday, to go along with 11 strike outs.

Poudre 10 Monarch 7
Poudre had a huge upset win over league leading Monarch on Saturday.  Poudre’s Sergio Tarango (2020) had a huge day at the plate going 2 for 4, scoring 2 runs, and driving in another 3.  In addition, Jesse Martinez (2019) went 3 for 5 and drove in another 2 runs for Poudre.
