6-foot-4, 175 pounds. The Wichita State commit was solid for 3 innings today giving up 2 hits and an unearned run. Fastball touched 90, and 91 once in the first inning then settled in at 88-89. Changeup was impressive at 78-80 from same arm speed as fastball. Curveball was 75-77 with sharp 11/5 break. From a high 3/4 arm slot his lower half stays in-line through the pitch and falls off slightly on the finish.

A 6-foot-4, 175-pound right hand pitcher who has a simple windup and delivery.  He gets slightly past balanced and drive hard to the plate.  Lower half stays in-line through the pitch and falls off slightly on the finish.  Arm slot is high ¾ with good speed on all three pitches.  He showcased an 89 MPH fastball with a smooth delivery.  Curveball was 77 MPH with sharp 11/5 break and he finished with a 79 MPH change with good downward action.  Nice combination of three pitches all thrown for strikes.

10-2-14

6-foot-3, 160 pound right handed pitcher threw from a high 3/4 arm slot against PBR Colorado Fall Elite Team. Did not give up a hit in two innings of work. Fastball came in at 82-84 mph with high being 85. Thew a curve/slurve that came in at 70-72 mph. Ball jumps out of hand. Square to the plate and gets good extention on pitches. Player to follow with already good mid-80's velocity. Showed a very quick move to first base picking off one player.
