The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

Here is a look at the action from around the state.

Bearverton OR 5 Ralston Valley 4
Ralston Valley made a game of it down in Arizona, playing a team out of Oregon, but came up short in this one.  Billy Wall (2020) had a good game at the plate going 2 for 4 with an RBI, and pitcher Calvin Hunt Arkansas-Little Rock (2019) only gave up 2 earned runs to go along with 6 strike outs in 6 inning of work.

Knappa OR 1 Arapahoe 0
Arapahoe pitcher Spye Turnbeaugh (2020) threw one heck of a game going 6 innings allowing just 4 hits to go along with 12 K’s, but gave up 1 earned run and that is all Knappa HS from Oregon needed to win this game on Tuesday.

Washington CA 7 Highlands Ranch 6
Highlands Ranch was trailing Washington by a score of 7 to 2 going into the bottom of the 6th inning, and Highlands Ranch scored 2 in the 6th, and then made a great effort in the bottom of the 7th scoring another 2 runs but came up short in their game.  2020 Chase Olivier had a good day at the plate for the Falcons going 2 for 2 with an RBI.

Jesuit OR 9 Rocky Mountain 9
With the game tied 9 to 9 going into the top of the 7th inning, the umpires decided to say that time was up so the game ended in a tie.  Rocky Mountain was led by 2019 Jaren Piepho who was 1 for 3 with 2 RBI’s.

Flanagan FL 8 Regis 4
With the scored tied 2 to 2 going into the top of the 5th inning, Flanagan put up a 4 spot and then added another 2 runs in the top of the 6th to win this game on Tuesday.  Regis player 2020 Owen Best went 1 for 2 with 2 RBI’s for the Raiders.

Lakewood 6 Thunderbird AZ 5
With the game tied after 3 innings at 5 apiece and going into the top of the 8th inning, Lakewood was able to push a run across and then hold the Thunderbirds in the bottom of the 8th to win on Tuesday.  2020 Alex Gonzales went 1 for 2 but knocked in 3 runs for Lakewood. 

Fairview 14 Sapulpa OK 9
Fairview came out hot scoring 8 runs in the first 4 innings, and then added another 4 in the 6th and 2 in the 7th to win on Tuesday.  University of Miami commit 2021 JD Jones had a monster day that the plate going 2 for 3 with 4 RBI’s. 

Mountain Range 9 New Trier IL 7
This game was 0 to 0 after 3 innings and then both teams started figuring out the pitching and combined to score 16 runs in the next 4 innings, with Mountain Range coming out on top.  Mountain Range had two players that went off; 2019 graduate Mark Cusick was 2 for 2 scoring 2 runs and driving in 2, and M. Brocklander was 2 for 4 with 4 RBI’s.
