Daily Roundup 4/14

Summit 10 Alameda 7
Summit gets another victory on the season and saw big days from No. 59 2015 Thomas DeBonville 2-3, 1 run, 1 RBI and a double and 2015 Ben Hull who went 2-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI.

Eaton 11 Platte Valley 2
The Reds stay perfect and put up 7 runs in the top of 7 to blow the game open.  Eaton offensively was led by  No. 7 2016 Matt Burkart, 4-5, 1 run, 2 RBI and a triple, No. 47 2016 Joe Mondragon, 2-3, 1 run, 3 RBI and No. 45 2015 Ryan Koehler, 2-4, 2 runs and 2 RBI. 

Rocky Mountain 15 Boulder 5
The defending 5A champ is heating up at the right time and saw big days from No. 9 2015 Cole Anderson, 2-3, 3 runs, 3 RBI and a homerun, 2015 Daniel Ciraula, 3-3 with 1 run and 3 RBI and 2015 Chad Bell, 2-3 with 2 runs and 2 RBI.  2015 Kelby Woodard, 1-3, 1 run and 2 RBI, led the Panthers offensively.

Brighton 13 Rangeview 6
The Bulldogs keep pace with a pivotal league win and were led by  No. 19 2015 Conner Reynolds, who went 2-3 with 3 runs and 2 RBI and 2015 Seth Armentrout, 1-4 with 3 RBI. 

Ralston Valley 18 Dakota Ridge 4
The Long ball was on display in this Jeffco League matchup; the Mustangs were led offensively by 2016 Reed Hutchin, who went, 3-4, 3 runs, 4 RBI and a homerun.  2015 Dalton Pribble also contributed to the victory with a 2-3 day with 2 runs and 2 RBI.  Dakota Ridge was led by, No. 56 2016 Ryan Faircloth, 3-3, 1 run, 1 RBI and a homerun and No. 76 2015 Tommy Sautel, 1-3, 1 run, 2 RBI and a homerun. 

Lakewood 3 Chatfield 2
The Tigers win a close Jeffco League game and see 2017 Casey O’Neill go 2-3 at the plate with 2 RBI.  2016 Chase Powell leads the Tigers on the mound going 6 innings, giving up 4 hits, 1 ER and collecting 4 K’s. 

Grandview 3 Arapahoe 2
A low scoring tight Centennial affair saw the Wolves come out on top and were led by No. 42 2016 Tyler Smith, 2-3 with 1 run and 2 RBI and a homerun and No. 14 2016 Grant Schroeder who went 5 innings, giving up 4 hits, 2 runs and striking out 6.  The Warriors saw 2016 Desmond Pineda go 7 innings, scatter 7 hits, give up 2 ER and strikeout 9.  Offensively, 2016 Clay Hanson went 2-4 with 1 run, 2 RBI and homerun for the Warriors. 

Gateway 15 Aurora Central 2
The Olympians have 18 hits by 8 different players and were led offensively by 2015 Eric Ayon, who went 4-4 with 4 RBI. 

Cherokee Trail 6 Eaglecrest 4
The Cougars are heating up both in the standings and at the plate being led by  2016 Matt Meraz who went, 3-4, with 2 runs, 2 RBI and No. 38 2017 Michael Morris who was 2-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI.  The Raptors saw big days from No. 110 2015 Jacob Lorenzini, who was 1-2 with 1 run, 2 RBI and a homerun and No. 63 2016 Spencer Hammond, 2-4 with 2 RBI.

Cherry Creek 12 Smoky Hill 2
The Bruins once again use a very balanced lineup to notch a Centennial League victory being led by No. 16 2015 Blake Goldsberry, 2-2 with 2 RBI and No. 26 Overall 2018 Tanner O’Tremba, who went 2-2 with 2 runs and 1 RBI.  Both No. 43 2015 Aeneas Roberson and No. 13 2016 Nate Sweeney contributed homeruns for the Bruins in the winning effort. 

Mullen 11 Overland 4
The Mustangs continue to make noise in league play and saw big days from 2017 Joey Salvato, 2-2, 3 runs, 2 RBI, No. 2 2016 Maverick Handley who was 1-3 with 1 run, 2 RBI and a homerun and 2017 Marcus Salvato, who went 3-4 with 2 runs scored.

Regis Jesuit 10 Rock Canyon 9
The Raiders bounce back from Monday’s and beat Rock Canyon on a walk-off squeeze. They were led by 2015 Thomas Jahde, 2-4 with 2 runs, 2 RBI and a homerun and 2015 Trevor Doerr, who went 2-4 with 2 RBI.  The Jaguars were led by 2016 Daryl Myers, who went 2-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI and 2015 Chris Givin, 2-2 with 2 runs, 1 RBI and a homerun. 

Pine Creek 9 Coronado 1
The Eagles get a big Colorado Springs Metro League win and saw top performances from, No. 13 2017 Toby Scoles, 2-3 with 2 runs, No. 25 2015 Peter McEvoy, who went 3-4 with 3 runs, 3 RBI and a homerun and No. 31 2015 Conner Deeds who tossed 6 innings, gave up 3 hits and struck out 10.
