The Regular Season is wrapping up, teams are making a push for the playoffs.  Here is a look at action from around the state from yesterday.

Regis (12-4) 10 Douglas County (8-5-1) 6
Quin Cotton (2016) for Regis had a great game going 3 for 4 with 3 RBI’s and a home run, and Travis Marr (2016) pitched 6 innings allowing just 1 run with 5 strikeouts to lead Regis to this big league win. 

Grandview (10-2) 13 Cherokee Trail (8-4) 10
The Wolves were leading 13-3 going into the bottom of the 6th, and then the Cougars came on by scoring 7 unanswered runs to make it a game.  Cherokee Trail was led by, Eric Cox (2017) who went 3 for 5 and Matt Meraz (2016) who was 2 for 4, scoring 2 and driving in 2 runs.

Rocky Mountain (9-4) Fort Collins (10-4)
This big league game went to the Lobos.  The game was tied 5-5 after 3 innings but the Lobos scored 1 in the 5th and 7th innings to win.  Spencer Gendreau (2017) went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s and Jason Uhrich (2017) was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s to lead the Lobos.

Thompson Valley (9-6) 6 Greeley Central (6-9) 5
Thompson Valley scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to win the game.  Mitch Zundel (2017) 3 for 4, and Matt Berg (2017) 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s to lead Thompson Valley.  Brian Yackey (2016) went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s for Greeley Central.
