Pueblo Centennial 2 Pueblo Central 1

Cherry Creek 7 Cherokee Trail 6
The Bruins beat the Cougars on Saturday, and dashed the hopes of Trail making it into a district this next weekend.  The Cougars were leading 6 to 4 going into the bottom of the 7th, and that is when Cherry Creek worked their magic and scored 3 runs to win 7 to 6.  The Bruins were led by, Tyler Schultz (2018) who went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI’s, and Tanner O’Tremba (2017) who was 3 for 3 with an RBI.  The Cougars Ethan Leisge (2018) was 1 for 2 with 2 RBI’s.

Grandview 7 Arapahoe 2
The Wolves need their win on Saturday to make it into the district tournament and they did it in fine fashion, exploding for 5 runs in the top of the 3rd inning, and adding another 2 runs in the top of the 7th.  The Wolves Jackson Vanzee (2019) was 1 for 3 with 2 RBI’s, and pitcher Luke LaFlam battled on the mound, going 4 and 1/3 innings allowing just 2 hits and 2 earned runs while striking out 8 Warriors.
