Friday 4/24/15

Cherokee Trail 13 Overland 3
The Cougars rack up 13 hits and run their record to 11-4 on the year and were led in this game by Nick Perez who went 3-4 with 1 run, 3 RBI, 1 double and 1 triple and Ryan Sullivan who was 2-3 with 1 run, 2 RBI and 1 homerun.

Mountain Vista 9 Ponderosa 7
The Golden Eagles get a big Continental League win and were led offensively by Marc Mumper who was 3-4 with 3 runs, 3 RBI and 2 doubles and Will Dixon who went 3-4 with 2 runs, 3 RBI and 1 homerun.  Alan Jeanjaquet led the Mustangs going 3-3 at the plate with 2 runs and 2 RBI.

Regis Jesuit 5 ThunderRidge 4
This tight fought league game saw the Raiders come out on top and they were led by Quin Cotton who went 2-4 with 3 RBI and 1 double.   Evan Mares led the way for the Grizzlies going 1-2 with 2 RBI and 1 double.

Highlands Ranch 6 Chaparral 3
The Falcons get win #10 on the season and were led by Nick Shumpert who went 2-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI and Morgan McIntosh who went 1-2 with 1 run and 2 RBI.

Rock Canyon 10 Legend 7
The Jaguars get the Continental League win and move to the top spot in league and were led offensively by Josh White who went 2-4 with 3 runs, 2 RBI and 2 homeruns and Quinn O’Neil who was 1-2 with 1 run and 2 RBI.  Mateo Shannon led the titans offensively going 2-4 with 2 RBI and 2 doubles. 

Arapahoe 13 Smoky Hill 1
The Warriors combine for 13 hits and were led offensively by William Metherd who went 2-3 with 4 RBI and 1 double and Jacob Goodman who was 1-2 with 1 run, 2 RBI and 1 double.  Trevor Johnson gets the win going 7 innings, giving up 2 hits, 0 ER and struck out 2.

Douglas County 10 Castle View 0
The Huskies use 14 hits to get the league win and were led offensively by Jared Montoya who went 2-3 with 2 runs, 5 RBI and 2 homeruns and Anthony Warneke who was 3-4 with 2 runs and 2 RBI.  Taylor Williams gets the victory going 5 innings allowing 3 hits, 0 runs and struck out 7.  

Chatfield 6 Columbine 5
The Chargers win this Jeffco League rivalry game and were led offensively by Jack Winkler who went 2-3 with 3 RBI, 1 double and a triple and Kyle Winkler who was 1-3 with 1 run and 2 RBI.  Tommy Gillman led the way for the Rebels going 3-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI.

Grandview 15 Eaglecrest 4
The Wolves remain near the top of the Centennial League with this victory and were led by Tyler Smith who went 1-4 with 1 run, 3 RBI and 1 homerun and Carter Boswell who was 2-4 with 2 runs, 2 RBI and 1 homerun.  Brandon Hernandez led the Raptors by going 2-3 with 2 RBI.

 

Saturday 4/25/15

Pine Creek 6 Fountain Fort Carson 4
The Eagles are in command of the CSML and were led in this game by Riley Gregor who went 3-3 with 1 RBI and Tyler Matheny who was 1-3 with 2 RBI and a double. 

Rocky Mountain 8 Fossil Ridge 4
The Lobos go to 13-3 on the season and are perfect since returning from spring break.  Chad Bell led the way offensively going 2-4 with 2 RBI and 1 double and Garrett Hammer was 2-4 with 1 RBI on the day.

Cherry Creek 3 Eaglecrest 2
The Bruins keep pace in the Centennial League with this victory and were led by Tanner O’Tremba who went 2-3 with 1 run, 2 RBI and 1 homerun.  Blake Goldsberry added 7 innings on the mound giving up 2 hits, 2 runs and collecting 8 K’s.

Cherokee trail 11 Mullen 1
The Cougars had a big week in the Centennial league moving to 11-4 and were led by Ryan Sullivan who was 2-2 with 2 runs, 6 RBI and 2 homeruns.  On the mound, Jerome Bohannon went 5 innings giving up 2 hits, o ER and struck out 7. 

Brighton 13 Aurora Central 2
The Bulldogs are hitting their late season stride and were led by Conner Reynolds who had a monster day going 3-3 with 2 runs, 4 RBI, 2 doubles and 1 homerun. 

Bayfield 14 Monte Vista 0
The Wolverines continue to impress and were led by Kelton McCoy who went 3-4 with 3 runs, 3 RBI and 1 homerun, Taed Heydinger who went 3-3 with 3 runs, 2 RBI and 1 homerun and Zane Phelps who was 3-4 with 2 runs, 2 RBI and 2 doubles. 

Green Mountain 14 Arvada 2
The Rams cap off an up and down week with a win and were led by Wyatt Featherston who went 3-4 with 2 runs, 2 RBI and 1 homerun and Chase Upson who was 4-4 with 2 runs, 6 RBI and 1 homerun. 

Lakewood 6 Bear Creek 1
The Tigers improve to 5-2 in league and were led by Chase Powell who went 2-4 with 2 runs scored.  Danny Collins took the mound and tossed 7 innings allowing 4 hits, 0 ER and struck out 3.

Dakota Ridge 8 Columbine 2
The Eagles get the crosstown victory and were led by Austin Grimes who went 2-4 with 4 RBI and 1 double, Bailey Collins who was 2-3 with 3 runs, 2 RBI and 1 double and Peyton Turner on the mound going all 7 innings giving up 5 hits, 2 runs and collecting 4 K’s.

Valor Christian 17 Standley Lake 7
Valor gets the 4A Jeffco League win and were led by Brady Opp who was 1-3 with 3RBI and 1 double and Austin Surina who was 4-4 with 3 runs, 4 RBI and 1 double.  Colton Guern led the way for the Gators going 3-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI.

Eaton 7 University 3
The Reds stay perfect late in the season and were led by Lane Greiman who was 3-3 with 2 runs, 3 RBI, 1 double and 1 triple and Matt Burkart who went 2-2 with 2 RBI. 

Holy Family 8 Windsor 4
The Tigers get the victory and were led by Jonathon Coufal who went 2-3 with 3 RBI. Dustin Starck led the Wizards and was 1-3 with 2 RBI. 

Bayfield 16 Monte Vista 0
The Wolverines complete the sweep putting up 30 runs in two games and were led by Zane Phelps who was 3-4 with 4 runs and 2 RBI and Brody McGhehey who went 4-5 with 2 runs and 2 RBI.
 

Erie 12 Roosevelt 0
The Tigers get the shutout victory and were led by Luke Conilogue who went 4-5 with 1 run and 2 RBI and Zane Begano took the mound throwing all 7 innings, giving up 1 hit, o runs and collected 4 K’s.

Smoky Hill 5 Grandview 2
The Buffalos get a big Centennial League win.  JR McDermott lead the way pitching a complete game only  giving up 4 hits and had 11 strikeouts. McDermott also went 2-2 with 1 RBI and 1 double.

Fairview 11 Monarch 1
The Knights run their record to 12-3 on the season and saw a good all around performance from Ryan Madden who went 3-4 at the plate with 1 run and 2 RBI and added 6 innings on the mound allowing 5 hits, 1 run and struck out 5.  Johnny Feauto added a 2-3 day for the Knights with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI.

Lewis Palmer 4 Palmer Ridge 3
The Rangers now sit at 14-2 on the year and were led by Paul Tillotson who went 1-3 with 1 run, 1 RBI and Brian Tims who was 2-4 with 1 RBI.
