Risers in the Updated Colorado Class 2023 Rankings

The PBR Colorado boots-on-the-ground scouting staff was in full force during the high school season and summer season providing coverage of players in our state. After many players showed improvements during the summer season, it is time to update the Colorado Class of 2023 Rankings. 

PBR Colorado has used valued  PBR Staff, Scouts, Past and Current HS Coaches and Past and Current Club Coaches as resources to update and add to this list.  PBR Colorado is thankful and appreciative of the unprecedented participation our our events

Risers in the 2023 Rankings:  

2023, Holden Pantier, SS/3B, Erie makes a big jump to #6 after a very impressive PBR Futures Games performance.  Running a 6.75 60 and showing ability to Gap to Gap with power potential, Holden's showed maturing signs a hitter.  Exit Velo 101.6 

2023, Jacob Syverson, RHP, Holy Family.  #10 Syverson is settling into as a RHP after having dual role as Catcher.  His FB now up to 89 and is spot on with location.  He has a repeatable delivery and pitches with great tempo keeping hitters off balance with a great mix of CB and CH.  

2023, Parker Murrow, OF, Chatfield   Rising to #13, Murrow can flat out hit.  The LHH has great bat speed and creates a direct inside path to the ball.  Lower half creates great balance and strong rotational acceleration.  Exit Velo 91+, with overall strength still building.

2023, Nate Lewis, OF, Regis Jesuit   The transfer from Georgia jumps into Colorado's Top 20 at #16.  Lewis is well built!  Strong and Fast  6.75 60.  Demonstrated bat speed and strength at the plate.  Pull side tendencies with great rotational acceleration.  Exit Velo 98.  Arm Velo 88.  Welcome addition to the 5280 Colorado baseball

 

2023, Sage Hurley, MIF, Mullen enters at #25  Sages great hands show up on the baseball field.  Defensively, hands are excellent.  Creates momentum through the ball and is in good position with quick feet.  Arm Velo 77.   At the plate, has + bat speed with direct inside path to the ball.  Middle of field approach with good balance.  Exit Velo 90.5. Room for growth and added strength
