Doug Case

The PBR Colorado Staff is putting together a series of players to watch for 2015. These players are not ranked in any particular order. We will be adding a player or two a day over the next 2 months. The next player in the series is 2015 graduate Doug Case of Dakota Ridge High School. 

For Colleges looking for 2015 Players, Case is a player not as known, but he is a strong looking kid who goes hard on the field. Good bat speed. Hustle Player. In spring had walk-off hit at Coors Field against Highlands Ranch. Hits Clean up for Dakota Ridge. In game we watched hit a grand-slam to deep center field. On a normal base hit between the SS and 3B hole he turned it into a double because he went hard the whole way. Threw 80 mph across the diamond, and had a 84 mph exit velocity off bat. Stands tall at the plate. When he develops more lower half into his swing his powers numbers will go up even more.

Season Highlights:

- Had walk off game winning hit against Highlands Ranch at Coors Field
- Hit .432 as junior in 2014
- Had 25 RBI's, 5 2b, and 4 HR in 2014
- Had a 1.117 OPS in 2014 
- 2014 2nd team all conference (5A Jeffco)
