The PBR Colorado Staff is continuing our series of players to watch for 2015. These players are not ranked in any particular order. The next player in the series is 2015 graduate Grant Witherspoon of D'Evelyn High School. 

Has a big athletic frame at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds. Bats left and throws left. Hits from a tall, athletic stance that produces a level swing through the zone with explosive bat-speed and plus power. Made some noise for himself this summer. This fall he is playing for Slammers 18U squad. Very athletic outfielder with good arm and covers good range. Last year for the Jaguars as a junior Witherspoon hit .452 with 5 doubles, 2 Triples, 8 stolen bases, and led the team with 7 home runs, 28 RBI's and an impressive 1.505 OPS. This upcoming season he will also be asked to have more of a role on the mound, and as a left handed thrower with his frame could be a real presence there also in 2015. Good student with a  3.6 GPA and got a 29 on his ACT.
