The Power 25 comprises multiple factors, overall record, the strength of record, the strength of schedule, and our inputs from scouting and gathering information on teams. Now that we are finally playing games, we are getting a better feel of the teams in the state. Coaches are also starting to figure out their lineups, pitching rotation, and where the role players fit into the equation. That is what the early season is for, learning about your team, building reps, getting healthy, and giving players opportunities before the conference season starts. So as we enter week three, this update will see some movement, and new additions, with some teams dropping out of the rankings.

Douglas County remains one, followed closely by Eaton at two. Broomfield moves into the third spot after starting the year 4-0. Moving into the Power 25 are Lakewood (5-0), Vista Ridge (7-1), Golden (2-3), Windsor (6-0), and Riverdale Ridge (3-0). Dropping out is Ponderosa (1-5), Chatfield (4-3), Air Academy (3-2), Mullen (2-4), and Holy Family (2-2).
