Preseason All-State Preview

The Prep Baseball Report’s Underclass Invitational will take place this Sunday February 28th at Highlands Ranch HS. This will be the second year of the event. Preseason prospects from the 2016 and 2017 classes will come together in a pro-style workout to strut their stuff in front of the PBR scouting staff. PBR Colorado No. 2 2016 and No. 73 overall RHP/OF Paul Tillotson (Lewis Palmer, Nebraska Commit), No. 3 2016 and No. 91 overall RHP/3B Jake Eissler (ThunderRidge, Texas Christian Commit), No. 4 2016 and No. 94 overall C Maverick Handley (Mullen, Stanford Commit), No. 5 2016 and No 174 overall OF Quin Cotton (Regis Jesuit, Grand Canyon Commit, No. 6 2016 and No. 165 Overall RHP Preston Snavely (Fort Collins, Wichita State Commit) and No. 10 2016 and No. 263 Overall SS Tommy Gillman (Columbine, Texas AM Commit)  are a some of the top 2016 prospects that will be in attendance.

In the 2017 Class we have 8 of our top 10 ranked players attending:

PBR Colorado No. 1 2017 and No. 42 overall RHP Caleb Sloan (Regis Jesuit), No. 2 2017 and No. 141 overall RHP Liam Eddy (Brighton and Wichita State Commit), No. 3 2017 C Casey Opitz (Heritage), No. 6 SS Austin Chouinard (Regis Jesuit), No. 7 OF Luke Kuberski (Green Mountain), No. 8 3B Matt Givin (Rock Canyon), No. 9 C Tyson Hays (Grandview) and No. 10 LHP Connor Nantkes (Cherokee Trail)

It has not been very often in Colorado State history that so many players with this talent have been on the field at one time. Feel free to come and watch. There is no gate fee.

With over 90 players registered, there will be several unranked prospects sure to impress and shake up the 2016 and 2017 class rankings.
