Stat Rat:
.89 ERA for Jake Greenwalt in 2016.  The Wizards have one arm coming back with experience on the mound in 2017.

Bottom Line:
The Wizards have enjoyed a nice 4 year run, qualifying for the final 8 three of the last four years including a final four run last year before losing to Pueblo West 3-1.  Replacing Jake Greenwalt with one or several players will be key to the success of the 2017 team.  Look for the Wizards to be strong on offense with Mitchell Watson, .423 with 30 hits and 18 RBI, Braden Peninger, .418 with 28 hits and 16 stolen bases and Zach Watts, .320 with 16 hits and 12 RBI.  On the mound, Corte Tapia comes off a 5-0 2016 campaign as a nice complement to Greenwalt.  This year, Tapia will be called on as the ace of the staff to have the Wizards positioned at the top of the Tri Valley League at the end of April.
