PBR:  Describe yourself as a baseball player to those who have never seen you play:
Z Medina:  I am very confident and try to be a team leader. I feel I am very strong as a power hitter with a strong arm and great glove in the infield.

PBR:  What would be your dream school to play baseball at?  If you have already committed to play at the next level, why did you choose that particular school?
Z Medina:  A D-1 school with a great baseball and academic program where I can hopefully be a starter as a freshman.

PBR:  What are your best assets on and off the field at this point in your high school career?
Z Medina:  I feel my best asset is my work ethic. I give my all in everything I do.

PBR:  What is the best baseball advice you have received and try to follow to this point in your career?
Z Medina:  "It's not how good you are it's how good you want to be". Play every game like it's your last.

PBR: What does your off-season routine look like to prepare for the upcoming season?
Z Medina:  I workout no less than 6 days a week lifting weights, doing cardio, and practicing on the baseball field.

PBR:  What are your superstitions or routines that go on during a season?
Z Medina: I have strong religious beliefs and pray before every at bat.

PBR:  What are your goals for:

This Season: To bat over 400 with no fielding errors and help our team to a State Championship

Two Years: Lead the State in HR's, RBI's, stolen bases, and batting percentage along with offers to play at the next level and/or enter the draft.

Four Years: Playing professionally or starting at a D-1 school.
