Englewood, CO--  On January, 2021, PBR Colorado held the Denver Preseason Identification showcase at Slammers South in Englewood, Colorado.  This Identification showcase was open to all classifications.  Colorado’s 2021’s - 2024s had an opportunity to put their name on the radar for collegiate recruiting, create or update a PBR profile. Top Players from this event will have opportunities to be invited to future invite-only events such as the PBR Colorado Preseason All-State, the PBR Future and Junior Future Games.

Today, we get to focus on 2023 Hitters.  Each hitter demonstrated a tool with promise.  Checkout this Quick Hits to create a great follow list for 2023’s:

 

2023, Sage Hurley, SS/2B, Mullen 
Quick hands and aggressive rotational acceleration.   Line drive tendency.  Strength and size still coming.  Exit Velo 84.5 Very good balanced approach  4.20 Home to 1st

2023, Jake Paczkowski, C/SS, Heritage  2.01-2.08 Pop behind the plate.  Thin Frame with room for growth.  Middle of field approach, hands work down through ball. Aggressive and confident swing.  Exit Velo 87.4  Lots of potential. 

2023, Thomas Munch, C/3B, Cherokee Trail
Explosive hands with middle of field approach   Consistent barrel contact with 71% line drives  Exit Velo 92.5  2.16 Pop as Catcher

2023, Carson Tinney, C/OF, Valor Christian
  Balanced approach with toe tap stride for rhythm   Produced consistent barrel contact, clean follow through.  6-2, 190 Thin frame, room for growth.  Lots of talent.  Pop 2.15   Exit Velo 90.7

2023, Parker Murrow, LHP/OF, Chatfield
2Way potential.  FB 80.2 in this event.  LHP with feel for zone with all pitches.  Demonstrated strength at the plate.  Slight toe tap to stride.  Middle of field approach.  Great follow both ways.

2023, Shane Hanson, C/1B, Chaparral
Thin frame produces quick hands and consistent path through ball.  Room for strength.  Some length in arm angles.  Pop 2.09 was best 

2023, Holden Pantier, SS/3B, Erie
Holden produced the 100.2 Exit Velo.  Demonstrated strength and explosive quickness.  Great barrel contact.  Talent with room for refinement.  Proven strong work habits.  Top Follow in 2023 Class

2023, Maddox Hodges, C, Chatfield
Big body switch hitting Catcher.  2.20 Pop Attacking hands with confidence.  Room for strength.  Exit Velo 85.8   Athlete who shows position versatility

2023, Nathan Balser, SS/RHP, Legend
Quiet hands and quiet lower half.  Mature approach.  Hands have a downward path, creates backspin.  Exit Velo 91.7
