QUICK HITS:  "POTENTIAL"

Englewood, CO--  On January, 2021, PBR Colorado held the Denver Preseason Identification showcase at Slammers South in Englewood, Colorado.  This Identification showcase was open to all classifications.  Colorado’s 2021’s - 2024s had an opportunity to put their name on the radar for collegiate recruiting, create or update a PBR profile. Top Players from this event will have opportunities to be invited to future invite-only events such as the PBR Colorado Preseason All-State, the PBR Future and Junior Future Games

This group of 2022's have not had eye popping Velos, Yet.  Each caught our attention with their talent and potential for future development.  Pitcher's to follow up as they develop:

2022, Jack Mackert, LHP, Thunder Ridge
6’2” Lefty with long levers, easy repeatable delivery.  Arm at high ¾ release.  Good tempo  Easily projects with added strength.  Velo up to 83   Great arm speed on OS  CB 73

2022, Michael Merkle, RHP, Rock Canyon
Continuing to develop 2022, Merkle was up to 82.2 on Trackman radar.  Range FB 77-82  Consistent delivery with aggressive arm.  OT.  Strike Thrower with more potential in there

Lou is 6-2 190.  You can see the potential.  Still developing and needs added strength.  Good rhythm in delivery.  FB in range of 79-82.2   CB 66-68 and consistent in zone.
