Underclass Invitational Schedule

 

PBR Colorado strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

The Underclass Invitational will take place on Sunday January 28th at Slammers South.  The invite only event will feature several top players from the 2020 and 2021 classes along with several newcomers who will showcase their skills in a pro style workout for the first time for the PBR Colorado staff.  Click Here to see who is coming.

The Underclass Invitational is fast approaching, January 28th at Slammers South.  Here is the schedule for this invite only event that kicks off the Prep Baseball Report Colorado 2018 scouting season.

Please note a few important details.

Weather permitting this event will take place both indoors and outdoors on the turf field.  Players may want to wear spikes outside so please bring both turf shoes and spikes.

Two-way players meaning those who have registered for a position and to pitch will want to make sure they have plenty of water and a snack for between sessions.

Catchers please bring your gear, in addition to your evaluations, we will film you framing pitches during the pitching session. 

ITINERARY

Position Players, Catchers and Two-Way Players:  Doors will open at 8:10 (Please do not enter the building until doors are open)
Check-in at 8:20 – 8:40  Players will receive their PBR shirt and have profile pictures taken at this time.

Pitcher Only Players:
Check-in at 11:20 – 11:30 Players will receive their PBR shirt and have profile pictures taken at this time. 

Catchers: 
Stay for both sessions

Format:

Infielders, Outfielders, Catchers (Weather permitting we will be inside and outside for this session)

• Running Times (Home to First Times)
• Offensive Evaluations (Exit velocity, mechanical evaluations)
• Round of BP
• Defensive Evaluations (Arm Strength, Agility/Range, Positional analysis)

Pitchers & Catchers (Pitchers will throw inside)

• Stretching
• 15-20 pitch bullpen
• Sequence of fastball and secondary pitches from both windup and stretch
• Catcher's Evaluations During Bullpen (Receiving/pitch presentation, Blocking/agility)
