Lets take a look at some of the top players who are registered for the event. All players listed in Alphabetical Order:

Josh Carrillo, Broomfield, C, 2016
Currently ranked No. 85 in the 2016 class. 5-foot-9 160-pound right-handed hitting catcher.  His pop-times were between 2.10 and 2.16.  Carrillo has a fluid exchange and a positional velocity of 70 MPH. Shows soft hands when framing.  Ran a 7.8 60-time.  At the plate, has a balanced stance with slight crouch, no stride approach with good leg drive through the ball produced an exit velocity of 83 MPH off the tee.  He has a level swing that produced mostly line drives and has gap to gap power potential.

Cade Crader, Grandview, RHP/1B
6-foot-3, 2015 pounds. Imposing presence at plate. Slight uphill swing that produces pull power. Strong upper and lower body. Get's good extension then has a one hand finish that produced 88 mph exit velocity off the tee. Nice big target at first base. Throws from a short 3/4 arm slot across the diamond at 77 mph. Moves well with good feet around the bag at 1B. Ran a 7.6 60 time. Intrigued with power potential.

Aaron Dammel, Highlands Ranch, MIF/RHP, 2016
Currently ranked No. 25 in the 2016 class. 6-foot-0, 170-pound two-way player. Left-handed hitter, athletic balanced stance, tall setup. Short load back with short stride. Bottom hand dominant. Dammel's exit velocity was 85 MPH from the tee, but we have had as high as 88. Dammel has a nice smooth swing through the zone with good plate coverage. Line drive hitter with opposite field power. Defensively Dammel has nice fundamentals, plays smooth through the ball,  and threw 84 MPH across the infield at the Centennial State Games this June. Ran a 7.36 60 time. Dammel continues to impress us as a steady player who can start at 3 infield positions, outfield, and could probably pitch if needed. Was first alternate to making the Junior Sunbelt Classic Team.

Parker Eischen, Ponderoda, 1B/OF, 2016
Currently ranked No. 56 in the 2016 class. 6-foot-1, 185-pound, left-handed hitting 1B/OF.  Ran a 4.23 home to first. In the field, he shows good hands and footwork along with a quick transfer. He reached a top velocity of 72 MPH across the infield. At the plate, he uses a high leg kick for timing stride and good bat speed 86 MPH exit velocity from the tee to create a line drive swing.  Lower body rotates through the swing with a high finish with his hands and weight on front side.

Dane Grounds, Ponderosa, MIF, 2016
Currently ranked 35 in the 2016 class. 6-foot, 150 pounds. Bats and throws right. Showed versatility at the tryout as an outfielder and a middle infielder. In both spots throws from an over top motion and displayed a good arm throwing 85 mph from OF and SS. Showed solid fundamentals in both positions. At the plate has very slight opened stance, slight leg-kick with medium sride, loads back, and generates good bat-whip and speed through the zone. Sometimes finishes with two hands, sometimes with one. Lower half Has gap to gap line drive power that produced 87 mph exit velocity off the tee. Ran a 7.46 60 time. Liked his arm strength.

Billy Moreland, Heritage, SS/RHP, 2016
Currently Ranked No. 27 in 2016 class. 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder/right-handed pitcher hits from a balanced setup, short stride, short bat path with pull tendencies. Had 91 MPH exit velocity at Preseason All-State, top 3 from this event. Ran a 4.5 home to first.  On the mound, fastball sat 83-85 MPH from same arm slot as in the infield, tall-and-fall delivery, toe down at balance point, shoulders stay level throughout, 69 MPH curveball was up in the zone, 72 MPH change.

Nick Morris, Grandview, RHP
Currently ranked No. 37 in the 2016 class.6-foot-6, 180 pounds. Cannot ignore his size. Creates very good down-angle, with very good extension and is on top of you at plate. From a high 3/4 motion fastball was 86-87 mph, and could even get more with added weight. Fastball was increased from lower 80's in the spring and fall.  Lands in-line and is smooth for big size. Mechanics take him to the strikezone. Throws a slit-finger with late sink at 73 mph. Curve ball is 12/6 with late break. Less raw from last time we saw him in the fall.

Travis Parker, Grandview, OF
Currenlty ranked No. 70 in the 2016 class. Parker showed well in all facets of the game. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect ran a 7.34 60-yard dash, threw 88 mph from the outfield and showcased a 79 mph bat exit velocity. Parker showed good skills in the outfield getting behind the ball and in proper throwing position.  At the plate he his from a wide stance and uses a high leg kick for timing.  He stays on his backside through the swing and a strong lower half creates good bat speed and balls that carry into the gap.

Cooper Shearon, Mountain Vista, OF/3B
Currently ranked No. 70 in the 2016 class. 6-foot-1, 215 pounds. Bats left, and throws right. Strong looking player. At the plate has open stance with slight leg kick. Hands load smoothly back, and had slight uphill swing with good extension. Has good gap to gap power potential. Bat speed produced 87 mph exit velocity. From his position gets behind ball well from outfield. Throws from high 3/4 arm slot at 77 mph. Most likely a corner outfielder. Also could play corner infield.

Grant Schroeder, Grandview, RHP/SS, 2016
Currently ranked No. 20 in the 2016 class. 6-foot-2, 175-pound two-way player, long thin frame. Hits from an open tall stance, short stride that closes down, lower half, works, good balance throughout. Path is short and level, gap to gap approach. 86 MPH exit velocity from the tee. Defensively uses a short arm action, high ¾ slot, accurate arm, 84 MPH across the diamond. Ran a 4.2 home to first.  On the mound uses tall and fall delivery, works on line, easy effort, high ¾ arm slot. Fastball sat 84-86 MPH, flashed sink. Curve showed short action, 66 MPH. Changeup 71-73 MPH. Secondary pitches thrown with good arm speed.  Threw extremely well pitching a complete game in the the 5A State Final Four in late may with same numbers above but took the loss. Made the Junior Sunbelt Classic Team.

Zach Sundine, Grandview, LHP
Currently ranked No. 88 in the 2016 class. 5-foot-9, 142-pound left handed pitcher and outfielder.  We like Sundine's live arm for his size. Last time we saw Sundine he was 80 mph, but was 83-84 mph in the tryout from high 3/4 arm slot.  Smoother delivery but still falls off to the third base side. Sundine has a 12-6 sharp breaking 69 mph curve with sharp late break. Change up had some sink, and was 74 mph at same arm speed as fastball.  Defensively moves well on balls both right and left.  Arm velo from the outfield increased from 77 mph last time we saw him to 81 mph. At the plate, has minimal load, short stride, and level line-drive, gap to gap swing that produced a 82 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.27 60 time.

Tyson Zanski, C, Grand Junction, 2016
Currently ranked No. 23 in the 2016 class. The 6-1, 195lb junior catcher has a strong athletic frame; this gives him great presence behind the plate.  His size behind the plate compliments his mobility left and right and a strong arm (threw out 30% of runners) makes him a complete player.  At the plate, Zanki is a switch hitter with good power, gap to gap.  He hit for a .444 average his sophomore year and hit .385 with 21 RBI's with 6 doubles his junior year. Has quick feet and strong arm, consistent pop times of 1.90, 1.92, 195.  Places the ball on top of the bag constantly.  Excellent movement blocking balls to both sides of the plate .  Soft glove that receives pitches well, does a nice job of getting around the ball on close pitches. From left side did not have a problem turning on an inside fastball.
