Colorado 2023 Class Rankings: Fall Update

Josh Reynolds
Colorado State Director

With the fall season concluded, it is time to make a modest update to the 23 Rankings. After another busy couple of months with local and national events, we have continued evaluating players in the state, looking to expand the rankings. So far this fall, we have seen 50-plus commitments bringing the total for the class to 87, with some high-level talent still uncommitted. The Top 10 remains the same, with Walker Martin holding on to the top spot.

Top 10

RANK  NAME STATE SCHOOL CLASS POS COMMITMENT

3 Brok Eddy CO Brighton 2023 RHP Arizona State
4 Finley Bates CO Douglas County 2023 SS San Diego State
5 Tate Smith CO Eaton 2023 RHP Oklahoma State
6 Chase Jaworsky CO Rock Canyon 2023 OF Utah Valley
7 Carson Tinney CO Valor Christian 2023 C Notre Dame
8 Ashtin Gilio CO Alexander Dawson 2023 2B Georgetown
9 Holden Pantier CO Erie 2023 SS Wichita State
10 Brandon Sanchez CO Legacy 2023 SS Northern Colorado

A couple newcomers to the rankings:

Carson Jasa RHP / Faith Christian Academy , CO / 2023

The Nebraska commit is the biggest mover in the updated rankings. The 6'7 pitcher who exploded onto the scene this fall with his low 90s fastball and a lot of projection, will be a fun one to follow in his senior season.

Walker Emmons RHP / Loveland, CO / 2023

Walker is an uncommitted pitcher who showed athleticism, a quick arm, and the ability to spin the breaking ball at a recent scout day event. He has a medium frame with room to fill out and a lot of quick twitch in his body. His fastball was 84-6, curveball at 75 with 2600 rpm, and a change-up at 77-79.
