TOP UNCOMMITTED:
Silas Meuli OF / 1B / Legend, CO / 2026Meuli comes in top 5 in the Colorado 2026 rankings and he is a 2024 Future Games alumni. The junior outfielder is 5'10'' with a whippy swing from the left-side that has generated a top exit velocity up to 98 mph. We also saw Meuli get better over summer and fall thanks to his now 6.6 best 60 yard dash time. As a sophomore at the 5A level in Colorado last spring, Meuli hit .358 with a home run, a triple, 4 doubles, 6 stolen bases, and a .956 OPS across 83 plate apperances. Meuli comes with the ability to play a true center-field, quality baseball IQ, high-end athleticism, and an actively developing swing from the left-side.

Carson Munroe RHP / SS / Chaparral, CO / 2026Munroe is another 2024 Future Gamer who remains uncommitted within the top 10 of our 2026 rankings. The wiry and athletic right-hander displayed quality pitchability with plus stuff during his innings for Team Colorado at LakePoint this summer. We have seen the fastball on Munroe up to 90 mph (~2,200 rpm) with a deceptive changeup and a quality slider. Munroe has the ability to throw the full arsenal in any count while his athletic 5'11'' frame bodes well for future development with fast and twitchy actions already.

There is no shortage of strength when it comes to Tyler Kephart. The junior was a standout across the board at this year's Colorado Fall Invite thanks to his fastball that topped out over 90 mph, a 106 mph top exit velocity, an 84 mph catcher throwing velocity, and outlier bat speed over 80 mph. Kephart is 5'11'' / 192 Ibs and uses all of his frame to max out the toolset. The upcoming 2025 spring season could be a breakout year for the Fossil Ridge junior.

Drake Jenkins OF / RHP / Timnath, CO / 2026Rankings StateRank: 70 / POS: 9
Jenkins is a strong and athletic player who just keeps getting better. During this years Colorado Fall Invite, Jenkins produced a 90 mph outfield throwing velocity, a 93.3 mph top exit velocity, and a fastball up to 83 mph on the mound. The long levers on Jenkins helps him generate natural strength at the plate with a whippy arm action on the mound and in the field. Jenkins is a high waisted athlete with a frame at 6'1'' and 177 Ibs, worth keeping a close watch on.

Austin Stanford RHP / 3B / Mullen, CO / 2026Rankings StateRank: 73 / POS: 20
Another standout arm from this year's Fall Invite was Mullen's Austin Stanford. The frame is easy to dream on from Stanford at 6'1'' and 175 Ibs with wiry athleticism. During this event, Stanford presented a fastball and curveball combination with some electricity. The fastball on Stanford sat from 86-88 mph with an average spin rate of 2,350 rpm. We saw Stanford parlay the quality fastball with a swing and miss curveball he was able to spin at 2,200 rpm and around 15 inches of horizontal movement. Stanford is worth a close watch in 2025.

TOP 5 COMMITS:
Hudson Alpert RHP / SS / Regis Jesuit, CO / 2026Alpert has been Colorado's #1 ranked 2026 prospect for a while and he is now committed to Vanderbilt University after continuing to build plenty of momentum. The junior right-hander is 6'2'' with a wiry/athletic build he uses to complete a smooth and easy delivery that has seen the fastball up to 93 mph already (~2,400 rpm/16 avg. IVB). Alpert also has feel for spin thanks to a slider he can get into the 2,600s (rpm) with plenty of deception. We have seen Alpert have plenty of success within the state since he was a freshman, displaying exceptional pitchability and competitiveness each season. Alpert's career spring pitching stat-line at the 5A level within Colorado sits at 89.1 innings with 94 strikeouts, 37 walks, 72 hits, a 12-3 record, .207 batting average allowed, and a 2.12 ERA.
|
Aaron Jaquez RHP / 1B / Falcon, CO / 2026Jaquez was one of the biggest overall winners from this year's Future Games as the tall and strong right-hander struckout 7 hitters in 3 innings of work. The fastball on Jaquez was ramped up to 92 mph with a tight slider and a deceptive changeup he was able to generate plenty of whiffs on. There was plenty of buzz around Jaquez after his innings at LakePoint and he has now earned himself a commitment to the University of North Carolina. Jaquez should continue to move up the national rankings as he carries one of the highest ceilings in the 2026 class.
|
Ethan Wachsmann RHP / OF / Grandview, CO / 2026Wachsmann set the event on fire during the last day of Future Games thanks to a fastball that hit 91 mph plenty of times, and some outlier feel for spin. We have seen Wachsmann generate a spin rate on the fastball up to 2,658 rpms while his off-speed has reached a max spin rate of 3,125 rpms. The uncommitted junior has a loose and quick arm action that comes with a plethora of deception stemming from his elite spin rates with a consistent arm speed. It wasn't a big surprise to see such an analytical program such as Wake Forest to go after Wachsmann, who is now committed there. Wachsmann is building a ton of momentum at the moment and is yet another high ceiling right-hander at the top of the Colorado 2026 rankings.
|
Chase Massey SS / 2B / Regis Jesuit, CO / 2026Massey has surged up the rankings over the last year, and he put on quite the show at the 2024 Future Games as well. The Regis Jesuit junior flashed the ability to play both shortstop and centerfield with feel during the games, while he racked up plenty of extra-base hits offensively. Massey also comes with a very low strikeout rate and a quality baseball IQ. The strong and athletic prospect has a chance to make even more jumps in the coming year, and is now one of the top overall 2026 position players within the state. The junior outfielder has now made a commitment to Boston College to continue his baseball career.
