TOP RISERS:
Cole Bobbin 3B / RHP / Mountain Vista, CO / 2027Rankings StateRank: 16 / POS: 1
Bobbin is a Junior Future Games alumni who continues to beef up the toolset. The Mountain Vista underclassman is currently 6'0'' and 160 Ibs with some potential two-way upside. Bobbin has produced a 92 mph top exit velocity, a 74 mph bat speed, and an 87 mph infield throwing velocity as a position player. We got to see some of Bobbin's development on the mound since summer of 2023, and he was able to ramp the fastball up to over 82 mph, but had the spin rate on the curveball at over 2,600 rpm. Bobbin already has some varsity experience under his belt and has plenty of big upside in the near future.

Brady Bradford SS / 2B / Fossil Ridge, CO / 2027Rankings StateRank: 7 / POS: 1
Bradford is another former Junior Future Gamer and he has developed exceptionally well since summer of 2023. The toolsy left-handed hitting infielder has now posted a 6.9 60 yard dash time, a 91 mph top exit velocity, and a 75 mph bat speed as an underclassman. The smooth left-handed swing on Bradford excels with his quick hands and plate coverage. Bradford also comes with progressed feel in the infield and could end up with plenty of 5A varsity experience after the Colorado spring season.

Carson Reffel OF / 3B / Legend, CO / 2027Rankings StateRank: 9 / POS: 2
Reffel is a big mover in the 2027 rankings update as he has made strides this summer and fall. The Legend underclassman showcases a controlled swing from the right-side with twitchy strength and a consistent barrel rate. Reffel currently sits at a 94.1 top exit velocity with a 78.2 mph bat speed, an 86 mph outfield throwing velocity, and a 6.90 60 yard dash time. The well-rounded game from Reffel also has a chance to make a big impact on his 5A Legend Titans' program this spring. Reffel is worth a close watch in 2025.

TOP NEWCOMERS:
Jackson Phillips RHP / OF / Ponderosa, CO / 2027Rankings StateRank: 14 / POS: 5
Phillips was one of the biggest winners on the mound during this year's Colorado Fall Invite as the underclassman posted a fastball up to 86 mph (~2100 rpm). The off-speeds on Phillips register as a curveball (~2100) and changeup that he was able to place all over the strikezone. The overall pitchability from Phillips impressed as a young arm with plenty more left in the tank as well. Phillips comes in at 6'0'' and 159 Ibs, making him a potential high upside arm worth noting in 2025. There is also some two-way upside with Phillips thanks to his exit velocities into the mid 90s at the plate.

Kailer Trebelhorn OF / Cherry Creek, CO / 2027Rankings StateRank: 25 / POS: 7
|
Matthew Schimberg 1B / OF / Grandview, CO / 2027Rankings StateRank: 32 / POS: 3
Schimberg stands at 6'6'' and 225 Ibs as an underclassman. The Prep Baseball Colorado staff was impressed by Schimberg's ability to display athleticism at his size, while also producing outlier strength. At this year's Colorado Fall Invite event, Schimberg was able to post a 100 mph top exit velocity and a 75 mph bat speed with defensive feel as well. Schimberg's unique frame gives him quite the ceiling in the future if he continues to develop at this pace. Certainly a name to note for the 2025 calendar year.

Blake Elsberry RHP / OF / Fruita Monument, CO / 2027Rankings StateRank: 52 / POS: 16
We continue our run of new standout 2027s with a look at Blake Elsberry. The Fruita Monument underclassman was able to register a fastball up to 85 mph (~2100 rpm) with a serviceable curveball (~2100) and changeup. As a hitter, Elsberry was able to get up to a 96 mph top exit velocity, a 74 mph bat speed, 91 mph outfield throwing velocity, and posted a 7.14 60 yard dash. Elsberry's 6'3'' frame should bode well for future development as well.
