With the Summer season coming to an end and the 2015-2016 high school sports season as well as fall ball getting underway, we would like to take a look at some of the top uncommitted prospects at each position.

Today we are starting with the top uncommitted right-handed pitchers in the New England States. We will look to create a few top uncommitted lists each week, as you can see by our 2016 Rankings that there are numerous talented prospects available.

Top 2016 Uncommitted Right-Handed Pitchers

Tyler BoisvertTyler Boisvert, RHP, Woodland HS, 2016
Ranked:
64th in New England
Evaluation: At 6-foot-1, 160-pounds, a very projectable body, has room to add mass and muscle. As a right-handed pitcher, he throws from a ¾ slot and it’s free and easy. The fastball was 81-84 with good arm-side run. Fastball has a chance to take off, more in the tank. Curveball was 71-72, with good rotation. Didn’t show much of a change, but with the arm action should be able to produce a small one. Strength is a major key in his development, look for him to blow up at some point. At shortstop, shows smooth soft hands, fields the ball out front, and keeps his feet moving towards his target. Arm strength is just ok, registered 74 on the gun. At the plate he hits with an even base, needs to get more of a trigger, the path to the ball is flat and the finish is nice and high. The tee exit velocity was 85 mph. Time down the line was 4.6, as has a nice bounce in him.
