New England Insider: Uncommitted Senior Spotlight - Dylan Horn, SS

Class: 2016
Ranked: 173rd in 2016 class
GPA/SAT: 3.7/1700

Scouting Report: The left-handed hitting shortstop hits from a slightly open stance. Horn used a double toe tap for timing while keeping his barrel flat and staying in the zone the whole time. At times he dives in a bit, His tee exit velocity was 75 mph. During the game he swung the bat well, he squared a few balls up and had some hits. His time down the line was 4.56. Defensively he showed an average arm with good carry, arm strength across the diamond was 76 mph and his actions and flow were very good. He is lean at 5-foot-10, 150-pounds, once he physically matures he should gain more power, his game should take off.
