2017 Player Spotlight: Alejandro Toral – Archbishop McCarthy. Toral is a big kid with a thick lower half, standing at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds. Strong build and athletic for his size, Toral shows good arm strength and the ability to play the OF and 1B.
Toral has a relaxed stance and takes a loose swing with good bat speed. Toral was a member of this year’s 15U Team USA Baseball squad. Toral batted .385 for the tournament and had a homer; six RBI and team highs in walks (9) and hit by pitch (7).
