Scouting Report

01/27/18- Lipscomb recruit. Currently stands at 6-foot-5, 185 pounds with a tall, projectable frame. Stood out during his time on the mound where he struck out four batters during his two innings. Drops down and throws out of the low ¾ slot and creates tough angles on right-handed hitters with deception in his delivery. Fastball mostly sat in the 75-77 mph range with tailing action and keeping it low and away along with a 67-69 mph sweeping slider that shows depth and late action.

6/22/16- The 6-foot-4 180-pounder is lanky and lean with a lot of room to grow into his body. At the plate, there is some strength and leverage, but he tends to get long through the zone. Being a big kid, as he gets a better understanding of his body and continues to get at bats, Einstein should become more consistent in staying short to the baseball which will generate more power from the big frame. Defensively, Einstein was a little stiff but made all of the plays while topping out at 66 mph across the infield. On the mound, Einstein dropped down and threw from the side showing a fastball ranging from 66-69 mph with some sink as well as a slider at 59 mph.

8/5/15 - 6-foot-3, 175 pound first baseman/pitcher with a tall lean loose lanky projectable body. Young body with a lot of upside. Long infield actions with solid mechanics. Occasionally fields ball deep in stance. Athletic stance at the plate with little to no stride. Short quick stroke with slight load and little separation. Some lift in bat path with balanced finish. Still very young. Will be interesting to follow as his body starts to fill out.

6-foot-3, 175 pound first baseman/pitcher with a tall lean loose lanky projectable body. Young body with a lot of upside. Side armer with a short loose arm. Pushes ball a bit. Lands in line with a bit of an upright finish. Fast ball has tailing action at 65-66 mph. Curve ball is a sweeping slurve at 56-57 mph. Occasionally gets under it. Very young projectable kid.
