The 2021 Junior State Games are set to begin this weekend at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Plenty of highly touted uncommitted and committed prospects across the Sunshine State from the 2023 class will take the diamond in Daytona.

The event is broken down into 4 regions, North, South, East, and West, with the winning region able to choose their own Mizuno glove or wood bat. Take a look at the roster HERE.

Today, we will continue to preview each team at the 2021 Junior State Games. Check out this year's East squad.

East Region

The East region features a team loaded from top to bottom with talented committed and uncommitted 2023s. A deep pitching staff features RHPs
Chance Fitzgerald (FSU), Joey Wimpelberg (UCF), Lucas Glendinning, and Cade Davidson, as well as LHPs Adekide Adetuyi (FAU) and Ethan Hummel.

Behind the plate for the East is NC State commit Alex Sosa, as well as Conner Spelman and Derek Lopez, who will also see time on the mound. The corner infield features big power at first base with Logan Hughes (Stetson) and Collin Priest (VCU), as well as Ty Grover at third. Up the middle is Stetson commit Logan Chapman, Lipscomb commit Caleb Scott, and uncommitted Mark Alvelo.

Rounding out the South roster is the outfield. Roaming the outfield is Grayson Christie, Lucas Oliver, and Jake Richardson.

East is looking to be another talented squad this year.
