The 2021 Junior State Games are set to begin this weekend at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Plenty of highly touted uncommitted and committed prospects across the Sunshine State from the 2023 class will take the diamond in Daytona.

The event is broken down into 4 regions, North, South, East, and West, with the winning region able to choose their own Mizuno glove or wood bat. Take a look at the roster HERE.

Today, we will begin to preview each team at the 2021 Junior State Games. Check out this year's South squad.

South Region

South Florida produces a ton of talent year after year and the 2023 class is more of the same. This year at the Junior State Games, the South region features a numerous amount of uncommitted prospects that coaches watching from home should key in on. On the mound the South features RHPs
Gabriel Cruz, Andrew Ildefonso, Eduardo Maldonado, Augusto Calienes, and Sebastian Granobles.

Behind the plate the South features Brayden Slade, Jake Weatherspoon, and Puerto Rico native Pedro Rivera.

In the infield, the South has Kris Blanks and Carlos Celta at first, and Michael Farina at 3rd. Blanks and Farina will also be pitching for the South.

Up the middle, the South features Robert Nedry, Adrian Vidal, Edward Paneque, Emmanuel Perez, and Ryan Yaroshuk.

Rounding out the South roster is the outfield featuring App State commit Dillon Moquin, Joshua Lopez-Torres, and Nicholas Bofill.
