The 2021 PBR Future Games kicks off July 28th at LakePoint Sports in Georgia. The event will feature 25 of the top uncommitted 2023 and 2024 players throughout the state of Florida competing against some of the top uncommitted players throughout the country. This event has brought over 300 college coaches in attendance each year and we expect the same this year.

This week, we will start to unveil our 2021 Team Florida position by position. Today, we will cover the middle infielders.

Team Preview: Catchers | Corner Infielders

2023 Drew Reaves, SS/3B, J.M. Tate

6-foot-2, 190 lbs. Reaves will be all over the infield for Team Florida at the Future Games. Athletic, smooth footwork at shortstop. At the plate, Reaves has a compact swing attacking both of the gaps with a 96.39 Exit Velocity via Trackman.

2023 Robert Demetree, SS/3B, TNXL Academy

6-foot, 185 lbs. 2020 Future Games participant for Team Florida. Demetree has added size over the past year to his athletic frame. Fluid in the middle infield, Demetree’s strength is present in his arm strength throwing 92 mph across the diamond. Potential power hitter, Demetree’s top Exit Velocity is 95 mph via Trackman.

2023 Peyton Prescott, SS/RHP, TNXL Academy

5-foot-11, 175 lbs. Prescott was a standout last fall at the PBR FL Rising Stars State Games. True two-way talent, Prescott’s athleticism plays at shortstop with his above average arm strength getting up to 90 mph with more in the tank and is also a solid in-game hitter. On the bump Prescott has topped out at 89 mph.

2023 Shawn Andrade, SS/2B, St. Johns Country Day

5-foot-11, 160 lbs. A lot to like of Andrade in the projectable lengthy frame. Has some of the best hands in the 2023 class and can really pick it in the middle infield. Was a standout at Team Florida ID Games - Orlando.

2023 Darnell W. Parker Jr, SS/2B, IMG Academy

6-foot, 170 lbs. Parker looks the part in the box. Loose hands with a level bat path and ability to launch fluidly. Defensively has above average hands, quick twitch abilities creating range in the infield.

2024 Devin Fitz-Gerald, SS/2B, Stoneman Douglas

5-foot-9, 160 lbs. Switch hitting middle infielder, Fitz-Gerald can really swing it from the left side of the plate registering an Exit Velocity of 95.15 mph via Trackman. In the middle infield showcases fluid actions with under controlled footwork and ability to make plays.

2023 JD Hay, SS/RHP, Bolles

6-foot-1, 178 lbs. Athletic actions in the infield, Hay standouts with his above average arm strength which gives him a chance as a true two-way player. At the plate, Hay has an easy, repeatable swing with some bat speed and level path. On the mound, has been up to 89 mph.
